The swine flu - H1N1 - is a red herring. It's being totally blown out of proportion. It is no different than any other flu, and actually far less lethal than other flu strains. The overuse of yearly flu vaccines, and anti-viral medications have actually created a situation where flu viruses are more prevalent, and more problematic.
To combat a flu or cold virus, at the first signs of a flu or cold, increase intake of Vitamin D to at least 50,000 units for 3 days, take 2 tablespoons Raw Organic Apple Cider Vinegar mixed with 2 Tablespoons Honey, 3 times a day until symptoms subside, boil 1/4 onion, and 4 quarter size pieces of Ginger in 2 cups water for 10 minutes, then drink warm to induce a slight sweat, increase your Vitamin C, get plenty of rest, and wash your hands with regular soap. Anti-bacterial soaps can actually lower your immune system, and studies show, aren't really necessary.
